Research Facilities

The PTL-NKUA is a well-equipped laboratory with skilled personnel excelling in the design, development and characterization of photonic systems for various applications.

The infrastructure includes several optical and electrical working stations, multi-Gb/s electrical and lightwave test & measurement equipment (such as optical spectrum analyzers, RF analyzers, real-time oscilloscopes, bit-error rate testers, lightwave analyzers), state-of-the art photonic systems, multi-type fiber-based and free-space optical a modules and assemblies, optical interrogation systems, etc.
