Dr. Charis Mesaritakis
Charis Mesaritakis received the B.S degree in informatics and telecommunications and the M.S. degree in Microelectronics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece. In 2011 he received from the same institute the Ph.D. degree on quantum dot mode locked lasers for telecommunication and biomedical applications. He is currently working as a post doctoral researcher with the optical communication laboratory.
His research interests include quantum dot semiconductor laser dynamics, single-photon emitters, optical sensors and micro-ring resonators. He has been the author and co-author of more than 17 papers in highly cited international journals, whereas he is the author of a chapter in Springer book on quantum dot mode locked lasers.
